How to Add Remote Control to Ceiling Fan

I have cloaked many different types of ceiling fan installations in prior internet site posts and in video, only this post wish focus on taking an extant ceiling fan that is presently controlled by two wall switches, and converting it to a inaccessible pressurised ceiling devotee c/w light kit.

SAFETY FIRST!

DISCONNECT THE EXISTING WIRING

There is a 3-conducting wire cable's length in the outlet loge that provides a common indifferent (white) wire, and the fan's light kit up is connected to the red-faced, and the fan is on to the black conductor. We only postulate one of these switched hot wires to act as the master power for the pass catcher unit. I will use the black wire (and the neutralised conductor) to power the receiver, and the separate wire (red) will be capped off with a wire nut and will no longer be used in this installation.  Here's a plot showing how the winnow was connected to the switches initially.

The Edward Douglas White Jr wire from the supply cable will touch base to the line in neutral, and the black wire wish connect to the live in, or power in wire from the receiver.
